Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuum and mop combinations can be customized with a specialized application. You can save your home's maps as well as organize cleaning schedules, and choose mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and scrubbing action your mop uses.
A mapping feature can help your robot navigate rooms and obstacles, while an obstacle avoidance feature prevents it from running into wires, furniture or other pet toys. These features are crucial in my home, which is full of toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the top-of-the-line vacuum and mop, comes packed with features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and can even raise its mop pads or brushes so that soft surfaces don't get wet. It can also avoid obstacles by spotting pet toys, plants, and other small objects.
The robot vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is higher than any other robot vac we've tested up to now. It also has PreciSense LiDAR Navigation, which tracks its location, preventing it becoming stuck on objects.
The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can provide constant pressure to the pad that is more than 6 Newtons to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has mop lifter technology which lifts the pad automatically when it changes between tile and laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs to avoid soaking the soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing, and self-drying features. The pad can be rinsing and heat-drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. This means you can set it and forget it, and only need to change the dust bag or refill the water tank every now and then.
This is all powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its normal mop and vac-settings for around 160 minutes before it started to run out of power and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't that far from the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is on the same level as other hybrids I've tried.
It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only drawback is that it's pricey. But its abundance of features makes it a very tempting option for anyone who wants to ditch their old stick vacuums and mops. We would highly recommend this vacuum if you can justify its cost.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end combination. The high price is justified by its robust features, including a large vacuuming capability and two mop heads that rotate. It comes with an app-enabled smart control system and an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combinations out there with a suggested retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed very well in all areas of the home, removing 98.4% of debris on all floors and managing to lift hair that is long without knots. The mops also performed admirably with excellent cleaning results with less effort than many mid-range models. This was due to their rotational movement and an effective dose of cleaning solution.
The L10S Ultra's real selling point is its advanced docking station that is multi-functional. The dock emptys its dustbin into dirt bag, then refills its water tank for mopping and dry its mop pads for you. It has a real-time hazards detection system, and its sophisticated controls let you schedule periodic cleaning sessions.
In contrast to the other hybrid vacuum mops I tried and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris pickup performance on carpets. The mops of the L10S Ultra are not as effective at removing stubborn stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features, it still requires regular maintenance. To prevent mildew or unpleasant smells, the base station dustbag, water and tanks need to be cleaned regularly, emptied, and dried. The mop pads that are sold separately will require changing regularly.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the budget. If robot vacuum cleaner cheap on a smaller budget, I suggest an easier model that allows you to save money while still enjoying clean hands at home. It's worth noting that even the L10S Ultra is the best robotic vacuum and mop combination you can buy, its high purchase cost and constant maintenance will ultimately make it more of a wish than a need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're looking for a robotic mop and vacuum that will remove dust and dirt on your hard floors, while taking care of wet messes then take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop set-up has a powerful suction power of 8,000 Pa. It also boasts an enormous battery capacity that can be used for both vacuuming as well as mowing. And it is equipped with a top-notch obstacle-avoidance system. It comes with a roller-mop that cleans itself and makes it stand out among other models which require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is a departure from the spinning discs and microfibre pads found in other robots. The roller is nearly the entire width of the robot, and it gets a constant supply of clean water that is filtered and ozonated from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while taking in dirt. Any dry debris is removed using the side brushes, or swept into the front bumper. The S1 Pro then discharges the mop water that is dirty into its base station, where it is sucked up by the tank's heating elements before being is poured into a larger storage canister. The onboard tank holds a decent amount of water, and can manage about a dozen mopping sessions before going dry.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use right out of the box as do most robotic vacuums and mops. It does need to be filled with clean water, but this is a simple task within the cleaning dock. If you'd like to use your own cleaner you can include a cleaning solution to the dock. If you decide to choose to use this feature, you'll need to purchase the brand-name cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your personal cleaning products.
Like most robots, the S1 Pro did well in navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations. It was fast to map a room and it easily navigated around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a couple of times on carpets with longer piles and rugs in my tests however this can be rectified when the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very robust robot that is available at affordable prices.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum. However, it still has some amazing features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag, refilling its water tanks, as well as cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system itself is capable of cleaning a good bit of a space before returning to its dock and the vacuum's high suction is capable of removing debris and pet hair on carpets.
The software that runs the appliance is quite complex, with a broad choice of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start an entire map and take care to clean everything that is mapped by the device, or you can choose specific rooms, expandable zones, or even a schedule you've crafted. There are many mopping options, including SmartPlan -an algorithm that makes use of the mops' sensors to determine the most efficient way to clean your home while it maps the area.
Like all Roborock models we've examined The Qrevo does well in our tests. Its navigation system is robust it can map rooms quickly and cleaning them in a systematic manner. The 'Normal' setting for pathing is excellent at covering a room, leaving no major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well too, but it's not as advanced as color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can spot the dangers of carpets that are thick but it might not always detect small things like rug tassels or electrical wires.
This machine has one major problem: it doesn't have a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy workaround: the app includes the option to "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. This lets you utilize the mopping function of the vacuum to get rid of the last traces of debris and dust that you've left behind from your vacuuming. It's a nice touch, and it helps the robot clean up a little bit better than its cheaper rivals.
